Stefano Rodella, a self-taught financial expert, started his career in 1990 as a trader dealing with diverse financial products. He amassed substantial experience at institutions including Marshall, Cargill, and Lloyds Bank. In 1998, Stefano transitioned to U.S. equities, specializing in sectors such as technology, healthcare, and energy, and collaborated with high-profile companies like National Bank Financial and SG Cowen.
He co-founded atonra in 2004, a venture dedicated to delivering superior event-driven independent equity research to a diverse clientele, ranging from hedge funds to pension funds. His commitment to providing innovative financial insights significantly reshaped the industry. By 2014, the company evolved into a successful investment manager, specializing in thematic investments, a testament to Stefano's extensive expertise cultivated over years of dedicated research.

Dina Fausto began her career at the Paris Stock Exchange and held various positions at Nivard Flornoy Fauchier Magnan Durant des Aulnois in Paris from 1986 to 2004. She was notably in charge of the accounting and oversight of NFMDA’s funds. During the late 90’s, she moved to the private banking division, managing high net worth individuals. Since co-founding atonra in 2004, Dina has overseen finances and human resources along with providing support to the company's risk and compliance officer. She graduated from the University of Tolbiac (Paris) in 1985 with a BSc. in economics.
Holding a MSc in Engineering from the ETHZ, Laurent started his career in 1997 as production engineer in the aluminium industry. In 2001 he joined the private banking world at Lombard Odier & Co as senior project manager. In 2011 he moved to Montreal as managing director of the bank’s North American operations. Back to Switzerland, he was hired in 2016 by Edmond de Rothschild as head of client & business management for Swiss private banking activities. Laurent joined atonra in April 2021. As company’s COO he works closely with the founders managing atonra’s activities and he is directly in charge of sales, marketing and human resources operations.
Małgorzata Miklaszewska joined atonra in November 2017 as a multimedia designer. Before that, she worked as an animator in Seagull Maritime and as a freelance designer, engaging in various artistic projects. She holds a Master in Arts, graduating from the Academy of Arts in Gdańsk in 2015. Małgorzata is responsible for maintaining the visual representation of the company. She creates concepts that help communicate the uniqueness of atonra's message in various design forms, such as web design, presentations, print, and animation.
Antoine Walter joined atonra in September 2016 as a business developer. Before atonra, Antoine was a Client Relationship Manager with Amundi Asset Management’s Switzerland and a Corporate Banker for Crédit Agricole CIB in Paris, servicing some of the most prominent French corporations. Antoine started his career in New York as a distressed debt analyst with Credit Agricole Indosuez. Antoine holds an MSc 1 in Law from the University of Versailles St-Quentin en Yvelines, obtained in 1998, and graduated in 2000 from the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris with a specialization in Economy and Finance.
Sonia joined atonra in December 2023 as a sales support. She holds a master's degree in finance and a solid background in front-office roles at prominent private banking institutions in Monaco and Geneva, including BNP Paribas and JP Morgan. With experience in Mutual funds operations, Sonia transitioned to atonra, where she currently plays a support role for the sales team.
Charles Bordes joined atonra in November 2020 as a financial analyst. Prior to atonra, Charles worked as a sell-side analyst for six years, first at AlphaValue, where he was in charge of the IT Hardware & Technology sector, and then at Kepler Cheuvreux, where he covered Small & Midcap stocks, still with an emphasis on tech companies. Charles holds an MSc. in finance from Kedge Business School (Bordeaux, France).
Christophe Magnin joined atonra in August 2019 as portfolio manager. Prior to atonra, Christophe was Chief Investment Officer of And Private Wealth SA, a Swiss wealth manager. He also worked for Hinduja Bank in Geneva, where his duties included managing share certificates and discretionary portfolios, and for Edmond de Rothschild Private Bank. Christophe holds an MSc. in financial engineering from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, obtained in 2011 and a BSc. in economics from the HEC Lausanne business school, obtained in 2009.
Davide Sciannimonaco holds an MSc. in Business Administration from Università Bocconi, Milan, obtained in 1996, and a Master in International Management from CEMS in 1997. He started his career in asset management in Vienna, then moved to Paris in 1999, where he worked as an equity broker at Société Générale before joining atonra in 2006. He contributed to laying the foundations for the research-based approach behind atonra's investment process. After having devoted some time to caring for a family business, Davide returned to atonra in 2019 and is now coordinating the research and investment teams.
Maad Osta holds a BSc. in microtechnology, obtained in 2012, and an MSc. in energy management and sustainability from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), obtained in 2014. He worked for three years in the oil and gas industry as a project engineer, then as a project manager, where he managed several maintenance and upgrade projects for important customers. At atonra since April 2018, he is responsible for fundamental research focused on the renewable energy industry, energy storage, and energy efficiency technologies for our "Sustainable Future" strategy.
Romain Bodinier holds a MSc. in Bioengineering from UTC Compiègne, a MSc. in Synthetic Biology from the University of Evry and a Ph.D in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Geneva. Double medalist at the iGEM competition run by the MIT, author of 4 peer-reviewed articles in scientific journals, Romain worked over 6 years with well-known research institutions such as INSERM, CNRS, and the University of Geneva. He combines this strong biological expertise with 3 years as a Quality Assurance engineer at Merck-Serono, UCB and Galderma. Romain joined atonra Partners in November 2020 and is responsible for fundamental research across on the healthcare strategies.
Fabio Mosella joined atonra full-time in 2022 as a financial developer. Previously, he worked for the company in 2021, when he interned for his master's degree. Fabio is a data scientist and analyst, part of the IT team, automating processes within atonra. In particular, he applies his software engineering skills to support and provide portfolio managers and financial analysts with financial tools. He holds a BSc in economics and management from the University of Geneva (GSEM) and an MSc in Finance from the University of Lausanne in asset and risk management.
Kevin Decoster holds an MSc. in communication systems from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), obtained in 2017. He is a scientist specializing in distributed systems. Kevin then worked for a year at Geneva High School on a distributed ledger project (blockchain). He has been with atonra since September 2018, where he brings his expertise in information technology and computer science, the Internet of Things, and cybersecurity. Kevin works closely with Christoph Sinhart and Christopher Wittlinger in the development of process automation within atonra.
Christoph Sinhart holds an MSc. in artificial intelligence from Maastricht University, obtained in 2015, where he wrote his master's thesis on the theme "Self-optimizing Dynamic Controller for Embedded Systems." He co-founded Intellineers in Hamburg with Christopher Wittlinger and AtonRâ Holding, the company Stainly SARL, a Geneva-based company that works on natural language processing. Since 2015, he has been working closely with atonra, developing internal software solutions and sharing his expertise in artificial intelligence. Christoph shares offices with Christopher Wittlinger and works closely with Kevin Decoster.
Loic Kouao Emissan has an MSc. in computer science from UNIGE and graduated with a bachelor's degree in computer science in 2016 in Tunisia. During his university studies, he worked for six months as a full-stack PHP developer at Gaea21, an association for sustainable development, and six months at the financial control of the city of Geneva as a data analyst. He joined atonra in June 2020 as IT specialist and software developer.
Christopher Wittlinger holds a BSc. in cognitive engineering, obtained in 2013, and an MSc. in artificial intelligence from Maastricht University, obtained in 2015, where he wrote his master's thesis on "deep and flexible neural networks applied to the treatment of natural language." He co-founded Intellineers in Hamburg with Christoph Sinhart and, with AtonRâ Holding, Stainly SARL, a Geneva-based company that works on natural language processing. Since 2015, he has been working closely with atonra, developing internal software solutions and sharing his expertise in artificial intelligence. Christopher shares offices with Christoph Sinhart and works closely with Kevin Decoster.
